Wendy
began her career working in advertising in both Paris and London.
After six years of trying to juggle her love of sport and the
demands of working in a busy office environment, she realised
that something had to give… Within two years
Wendy had successfully completed a diploma in fitness training
and sports therapy with Premier Training and Development and
had earned her Fitness Instructors certification with ACSM
(American College of Sports Medicine). After a year working
as a freelance personal trainer at Champneys, Piccadilly,
Wendy was headhunted to work at London’s premier health
club, The Harbour Club. She continued her studies and completed
her C.H.E.K (corrective high performance exercise kinesiology)
Level 1 qualification. She is currently studying Level 2.
Wendy divides her time between working at the Harbour Club,
running her own private business of high profile clients in
the South West London area and travelling with the company
In:spa who organise luxury health and fitness retreats overseas.
Wendy has extensive media experience and is often quoted
in the media. She has featured in numerous publications including
Instyle Magazine, Shape, Marie Claire and OK. She has also
written a weekly marathon training diary in the London Metro
newspaper.
Having completed no less than 6 London Marathons, Wendy understands
the discipline and motivation needed to achieve goals. Wendy
brings an abundance of fun and energy to the world of personal
training and believes that a fusion of physical activity and
a balanced diet are essential to a long, happy and healthy
life. Her enthusiasm is contagious and she can even make a
cold winter workout fun and exciting!
